Mikkel Rev emerges from the heart of Oslo's underground as a compelling and enigmatic artist. A core member of the Ute collective, he is also one half of the duo Omformer, alongside his collaborator and fellow Ute co-head Oprofessionell. Mikkel Rev's solo endeavors have resulted in numerous releases on Ute.Rec and its sub-label Translusid, where he has carved out a distinct soundscape.
With two standout EPs on Ute.Rec and contributions to Ute.Rec's collaborations with Amniote Editions and Blue Hour, Mikkel Rev has developed a signature style. His music, deeply influenced by old-school hard trance, is infused with his own unique, sensitive, and emotional touch, setting him apart in the electronic music scene.
